| Users review: Although I have seen a lot of children's movies I my time (with three children), as one of the other authors, he found the film boring and I did not like. However, my 8 year old daughter loved it and said that we need to buy this movie. I had not seen the prequel to this film, but it would probably improve my opinion. I do not think that the actors were great. After seeing Brendan Gleeson in different roles, it was rare to see him play this character and it seemed out of place. The film had some touching scenes that stepparents and stepchildren appreciate. I thought that some of the effects are high, but I think the film is primarily intended to entertain children. |
