Users review: This summer I have seen a few intentionally funny stupid movies, and enjoy. Adam McKay Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy is no exception. It seems that my taste for high concept film is affected by the summer - well, not really. This film written by McKay and his star Will Ferrell is completely absurd and over the top comedy. Applaud Will Ferrell as mind-bendingly stupid and self absorbed, San Diego presenter Ron Burgundy. Will Ferrell is a genius in the game directly without Ron dispersions characters. Ferrell creates great deadpan sense coexistence with her dog, Baxter, and the fact that his character Ron Burgundy will read something on the teleprompter, his tragic flaw, well, at least one go rivers, is priceless. Ferrell, also, never cross the line to be a complete idiot, which is an amazing achievement. In fact, Ron Ferrell gives silent charm - he really grow on you. I want to see what he creates next door. For now, Anchorman is just great fun, and very funny stuff.
