Users review: This summer I have seen a few intentionally funny stupid movies, and enjoy. Adam McKay Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy is no exception. It seems that my taste for high concept film is affected by the summer - well, not really. This film written by McKay and his star Will Ferrell is completely absurd and over the top comedy. Applaud Will Ferrell as mind-bendingly stupid and self absorbed, San Diego presenter Ron Burgundy. Will Ferrell is a genius in the game directly without Ron dispersions characters. Ferrell creates great deadpan sense coexistence with her dog, Baxter, and the fact that his character Ron Burgundy will read something on the teleprompter, his tragic flaw, well, at least one go rivers, is priceless. Ferrell, also, never cross the line to be a complete idiot, which is an amazing achievement. In fact, Ron Ferrell gives silent charm - he really grow on you. In essence, the anchor is extended comedy. Ron is informed by his station manager, Ed (Fred Willard Funny) to be co-anchor Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate hot). It turns out that Veronica is a woman who was immune to the charm Rons big wild party news crew. Veronica is beautiful, ambitious and intelligent. She also has aspirations to be an anchor on the network. Team reporting Boys Club, which include sports championship type (David Koechner), Brian Fantana story man (Paul Rudd), and dumb as a meteorologist Brick Tamland post (Steven Carell), all make your plays Veronica. However, she falls for Ron's side. Ron eventually seduce her sense of purpose completely crazy jazz flute. The writing on the screen is so distorted in a good way, and he has absolutely no shame. There is a classic scene Rons dog Baxter, and a bridge, according to my friend John, breaking a cardinal rule of writing a script. In another memorable scene Ron gives wrong translation of the name from San Diego to Veronica that's hilarious. Anchor also benefits from guest appearances by talented actors, especially Vince Vaughn as Wes Mantooth, anchor rival station. Christina Applegate looks great, and really has a flair for comedy. The reporter is completely finished, and ignore the restrictions. It really does work. Anchor is a broad farce shot well done. Will Ferrell shows great comic gifts. I want to see what he creates next door. For now, Anchorman is just great fun, and very funny stuff.

Users review: Lord of the Rings is one of my favorite books that I've read it several times, and remember to think about the last time 3 years ago that if I did a movie Id want to make it to this, but it would be nearly impossible. Then you can imagine how strong my expectations when I went to see the highly anticipated first installment. This movie impressed me enormously, more than anything else because of how true it was my imagination, both in the characters and effects and create a feeling I've always hay rt from other fans of the books. Elijah Wood brought upon the character of Frodo with the sort of haunted, captures fragile courage Tolkien so well in the books. I also could not find anything wrong at all with Ian McKellans Gandalf, Viggo Mortensen's Aragorn and Sean Bean's Boromir, who all thought I was played excellent. I could pick where I think, no, that's not right, but their seldomness number would only serve to illustrate the quality of the overall picture. One thing that did stand out for me was Cate Blanchett performance as Galadriel, the part itself was so shallow in the film, which for me its alternation between benevolent observer and nature of potential terrorist seemed little more than a bit confusing detour with no real connection to it other than as a vehicle for a glimpse into the future plot. But that was it.I thought that the points on which Jackson did depart from the text was entirely the right to do so. Shorten the inaugural Shire scenes and cut out the whole Tom Bombadil piece was great because frankly they bore me a bit in the book anyway. Expand also the role of Arwen was a wise decision. However, this film is not in any way from criticism. The dialogue was in my opinion terrible and purely there to drive the plot. Normally this would ruin a movie for me (as in The Matrix), making it almost unbearable to watch, but thankfully this show a little more than a minor irritation. In addition, the film seemed to be generally unnecessary plot-driven and sometimes a mad dash from one action scene to another, the characters all their truth to the book seems flat and sometimes a little more than stereotypical fantasy characters. This is perhaps my big argument with the film, I wanted these characters to have come to life as people in a way that was impossible with the little script coaster nature of the plot . Generally the whole movie lacked the depth of context that I think separates Tolkien from other fantasy writers. But having achieved this would have required an entirely different movie, and you can not fault an action movie to be an action movie. This film is certainly not for everyone. Many people not only to get other than Lord of the Rings fantasy, I'm not special either. But in my opinion, Jackson has really done an incredible achievement, carried his and Tolkien's vision suberbly a stunning setting and stunning special effects, as well as a cast clearly as captivated as he was. He has been a huge task, and treats it with breathtaking success.

Users review: The interesting thing about this film is that its cheesy romantic comedy from the female perspective. Knowing that the film is written by a woman in my position that shades pop out to me. Its those shades and outlook that makes the film more enjoyable. No one scene or moment merits little more laughter, and heroes themselves to expand and grow as the story unfolds. Its hard to worry about the results at first, because there is no installation or establishment of true character. Then they kind of grow on you, even if no one really rang true for me in every sense of the real world. Natalie Portman as great as you'd expect, but Ashton Kutcher does a great job as well. I've seen others criticize his performance, but I think it will be based on previously hated him not for his work. Supporting characters were very weak and useless, except for the father character played Kevin Kline is great. Overall, better than I expected it to be.

Users review: What can I say except that this movie really knocked me on my Keaster. I went into the theater not knowing what to expect, but was sure it would be worth the entrance fee. Boy was I glad when I left. Not only does it cost for a ticket that I paid to see this movie twice. This film is almost perfect. The acting is superb, the story is wonderful, the story is great, and the structure of the film is truly groundbreaking (absolutely loved the last 20 minutes). What really surprised me about this movie was how well the film was made. In a small, character-driven film like this, it is very unusual to have such a great movie. With this film, there's something interesting foregåri each scene, not a lot of movies, you can say that about the year when first time directors from some of the best films of three king, Hunting, John Malkovich, etc. .. Sam Mendes seems to have them all out-do. Although I have yet to see The Green Mile or Magnolia, I find it hard to believe that a film will shine out of American Beauty. This film should easily win a substantial amount of this year's Oscars. What happens to all cirtics price insulted him so far?

Users review: I managed to catch a preview of the film on May 18. X-Men and other critics about the shortcomings of this film, I'm a big fan buzz before reading. I was very surprised at the quality of these films. This movie was very good, especially in the third installment. I think this film, beating a tight X-Men United, the guts to say it was my favorite of the three. Magneto and Dark Phoenix will be tying up a lot of confusion I felt it was very important to the story, however. Good writing and good powers of Halle, in this section, I felt like it was a little better. The action scenes, especially jeans at home, it was great. Dark Phoenix Saga them to stay true to the comic, I was pleased to see certain scenes. Some of them were really impressive bits of the other mutants, as expected Id annoying. I was very impressed with this movie shockers and unpredictability. Some things I definitely did not see that coming. Perfect for anyone looking forward to the experience, you should still give the fan base was prepared, and the X-Men. Good story, great battles, great special effects, funny things, unexpected, annoying main Pyro. Nuff said.

Users review: Not a fan of the Harry Potter movies, I toddled along to the first viewing of this film at my local UGC Cinema and thirly sit and enjoy this movie, but not in the way I would expect something like Lord of the Rings or Spider-Man. Of course Harry Potters target audience is younger so I could see how I might have enjoyed it both slightly younger audience, but to say the least it was better than some of the crap that fizzled this the day. Wrong not and a year on the main characters are much older, taller and voice breaking. Most of the original cast returns, and some new characters appearing in Kenneth Branagh and Jason Isaacs as. Kenneth Branagh played Gilderoy Lockhart wonderful seem to think hes adored by everyone and quite frankly is adored by women for his charm and bravado. It is one of the best bits in the film Jason Isaacs as Lucius Malfoy who plays father of Draco. Jason sports a long wig and plays wicked good father / villain down to the T. He plays it like his villain in The Patriot. I sometimes phased by Rupert Grint Ron. It's not a great actor, but he can play rewarded. He could have done better, but then I have not read the book, so I do not know how Ron will act. I think he played scary scenes (pretty much) in werent convincing enough for me, but the kids have to get a good laugh out of it more than me. I suppose you cant blame the kids that are not normal because they're young and just learning the business actors, but for those who have them and they should get a pat on the back. The best SFX, especally character Dobby. Big. I couldnt tell the bad CG since its creation, but the fact there was no way that can make otherwise. Even the CG character of Dobby almost like Gollum in Lord of the Rings and CG Asgard in the television series Stargate SG-1 (texture speaking) well spoken for Stargate SG-1 if it can also make movie like this ... and above. The CG Spider is very creepy and realistic. Not too scared of spiders, they kind of made me jump. I feel the body up tension gave Harry and Ron, that is a good thing because I often find myself doing in the film. The person sitting next to me seemed a bit scared of spiders too. Score John Williams is very similar to the original score to the old theme back and some music that sounds like music from Indiana Jones his score. I found myself whistling the main theme of Harry Potter for most of the night and on occasion I did not realize until someone else showed off me. The film definitely has better action sequences and much more action focused than 1 Potter movies. I found myself clenching up in their eyes really tight. The story is not too difficult to understand from the point of non-potter fans view movies and much shorter than I expected. I think that lasted for three hours when it is more like 2 1/2. In some cases I found that you had to have seen the first film to understand some of what is happening, but that is due to the story behind the person can not be pronounced, and some gags. The only thing that annoyed me is that the sign in the foyer too long and I couldnt get some ice cream and a little boy crying the front row for a few minutes in the middle of the road. Why bring whos young children will forget about the film next week? You may be asking yourself. If you're not crazy-potter fan then I suggest you wait a few weeks so that you're not even walk with men who stood 4 feet tall ... ie. CHILDREN! (Im not talking about the dwarfs) The giving 8.5/10. But I'm not a big fan of this movie and I'm not the target audience. Thats a good thing in case you're wondering.

Users review: Its nice to see a relatively non-violent fantasy adventure suitable for new younger audience. But the older audience can enjoy it too. I actually prefer the story to the stories Hunger Games with all the killings. The effects and creatures is slightly fake and unreal looking, but it adds to the charm. Cute fusion of mythology and history is present. Logan Lerman seems still quite young for the role, but Alexandra Daddario looking a bit 'older.I remember enjoying the first bit' more to do with the novelty of the characters, but this is pretty good.
