Users review: I suppose I was commenting on this film for not seen this movie and I pity those people. It is a thriller. Ably describe the history because it is not particularly original, and the best thing about this movie. Pacino and DeNiro've got to screen a movie for the first and possibly last time should be sufficient recommendation. You've also got the director Michael Mann at the top of their game. A cast of amazing support on all cylinders. Possibly the best shooting any movie - ever. What more could you want? It is a long movie, but there is a missing scene in it. Even incidental story lines - for example, the pair of cells recently paroled ex Deniro where first job was working on a grill for a nasty head-touching and then ends as a driver Game Deniros replacement crew. Just add weight to the film. All internal Drama, the good guys and the bad guys who do not get the typical cops and robbers film is shown in loving detail and nothing was rushed. It just simplifies a more satisfying and participatory film.Mann started his career in Miami Vice lasts almost looks like a trip back to the eighties style soundtrack and movie, cula - almost, but not quite.
