Users review: Superbad may seem like a typical high school movie on the cover, but it's actually much more. It follows a trio of high school seniors who decide to have one last party before leaving for college (and one last chance to grab a woman) is clear. All three of Seth, Evan and Fogell. They make good actors are very easy to compare. Acting style is perfect for this type of film. Joining them are the characters of interest. My favorite is the two police officers Slater and Michaels. Almost every scene with them made me laugh, references to other films as official parodies of classic slapstick frame comedy. The definitely a strong point, not as comedy today. Most of the film follows two different plot lines that join eventually. Inter-woven into the plot is a lot of humor that kept me laughing most of the time. The plot itself involves alcohol, partying, and law enforcement, and somehow make it work in a very interesting story. In addition, a very close friendship between Seth and Evan are elements beyond the comedy genre. The plot as a whole has a lot of information that is not realistic, but successfully manages to combine comedy with some deeper aspects meaning. The comedy is some of the best ever. Some of the jokes are a bit rude (especially the part of his childhood Seths), but I must admit they are very funny. Aspects of the beer is cold enough, and sexual jokes do their thing. Enforcement parodies and gags McLovin is probably my favorite. The film as a whole is one of the best comedies of all time. I do not like most of Knocked Up (7/10). Still have a few gaps in the comedy genre, but has more value than most movies today. Highly recommended for people who are in high school or college, and also recommended (even a fraction) for the rest. |
